a) Measure the Diameter: Use a ruler or caliper to measure the inside diameter of your portafilter basket. The Uniform Evo adapters fit portafilters sized 51–53 mm and 58 mm, which are the most common standards.
b) Count the Lugs: Look at the bottom of your portafilter and count the small “legs” (lugs) that help it lock into your espresso machine. The Uniform Evo is compatible with most portafilters that have 3 lugs within the 51–58 mm size range.
c) Check Your Machine’s Brand and Model: 2-lug portafilters are common with E61 group head machines (e.g., Rancilio, ECM, Profitec). 3-lug portafilters are used by brands like Gaggia, Nuova Simonelli, and Victoria Arduino.
