Pizza Oven

The burner won’t ignite.
Possible causes:

  • The coupling nut is loose or the coupling pin is oxidized. The reseller or user can fix this by tightening the nut or removing oxidation from the pin.

  • No gas supply – check if the gas cylinder is empty.

  • Coupling nut and regulator are not fully connected – tighten the coupling nut by hand until it stops. Do not use tools.

  • Blockage in the gas supply – clean the burner tube.

  • The burner has become detached from the valve – reconnect it.

  • Incorrect assembly – check the steps in the assembly instructions.

  • The burner may be defective.

Sudden drop in gas supply / weak flame.

  • Check that there is gas in the propane cylinder.

  • Turn off the gas switch, wait 30 seconds, and try lighting again.

  • If the flame is still weak, turn off the gas regulator, close the valve on the propane cylinder, disconnect the regulator, reconnect it, perform a leak test, open the cylinder valve, wait 30 seconds, and then light the oven.

Flames blow out.

  • Strong wind or gusts – turn the oven’s front away from the wind.

  • Low gas – refill the gas cylinder.

Flare-ups.

  • Fat accumulation – clean the oven.

  • Too much fat on the meat – trim fat before cooking.

  • Temperature too high – adjust the temperature.

  • Too much flour on the baking surface – brush off excess flour.

Backfire (flame in the burner tube, hissing sound).

  • Burner and/or burner tube is blocked – turn off the gas regulator, clean the burner and/or tubes.

  • Pressure drop during ignition – turn off the oven, make sure the cylinder valve is fully open, and try lighting again.
