Can the jug crack?
Yes, it can crack if exposed to a rapid change from cold to hot / hot to cold. Be mindful of the dishwasher’s temperature and let the jug cool down properly before pouring anything cold into it. The jug can withstand around 60 degrees unless it is made of Tritan or borosilicate. Tritan can withstand up to 100 degrees and borosilicate up to 90 degrees.
Why do ingredients stick to the blades?
Blenders need liquid to work properly, so please add more liquid. If you use very hard and frozen ingredients, more liquid is required to ensure a good rotation.
The bottom part of the jug with the blades is extremely tight and won’t unscrew, any tips?
The jug’s bottom part is screwed on tightly at the factory. Place the jug in the base unit and twist it, it will loosen more easily with a bit of force.
How do you clean a jug where the blades cannot be removed?
Blenders with fixed blades are cleaned by pouring hot water with a little dish soap into the jug and then running the blender at full speed. Rinse the jug afterwards with clean warm water. If there are stubborn residues, you can use a dish brush to help.
How do you remove the blade assembly from the jug on Xplode models?
The blade assembly can be tight from the factory.
To unscrew it: place the blender jug in the motor unit and twist counterclockwise. This will give you a good grip and allow you to unscrew the blade assembly. See video here, turn on "cc" for text guide.
